E-flite Gee Bee R2 UMX BNF
The new rc plane from E-flite, the Gee Bee R2 UMX BNF looks like a funny little treat. I love the chubby look of the model and it seems as if E-flite has created a scale looking version of this airplane that actually flies really well. The stable flight and good control is much thanks to the AS3X technology deployed in the plane.
The only downside as I see it in the Ultra Micro eXtreme range of rc planes, or UMX, is the price. I do feel that it is a bit on the heavy side for what you actually get. Be that as it may, I will get my hands on this cool plane and the fact that it comes as a BNF is very good if you ask me.
AS3X is an abbreviation for Artificial Stabilization 3 aXis and is a system from Horizon Hobby deployed into the UMX range from E-flite. The design is made to give the pilot more control aswell as more stability in order to be able to focus more on simply enjoying the flight.
